How long a thing stays true
Anything that falls into the shaded half gets flagged in the answer
Each source is measured against its own clock, not one blanket cutoff. A two month old runbook is fine. A two month old decision might already be wrong.
When two sources it cites disagree, it says so, shows both and leads with the newer one.
What it won’t do yet: work out on its own which document replaced which across your whole workspace. When it isn’t confident, it says so.

Sign in to the tools you already use
One OAuth click each, then choose exactly which channels, folders and pages it may read. Google Drive and Notion read nothing until you pick. Slack reads the channels you choose, or every channel it can join if you leave the selection empty.

Read-only scopes. It can open, index and quote. It cannot post, edit, move or delete anything.
In Slack and Drive, nobody sees anything they couldn’t already see.
scri8e never grants access to anything. For Slack and Drive it mirrors who can open what, channel by channel and file by file, and checks it on every question. Notion can’t say who a page is shared with, so the pages you choose are visible to the whole workspace.
“What is the salary band for a Band 4 engineer?”
Band 4 is $118k to $142k base, plus a 10% target bonus. The range was widened in April after the market review.
The bands themselves aren’t something you can open. What is public: reviews run twice a year, and any change needs sign-off from the people lead.

- It can’t post, edit or share anything. Notion pages you share with scri8e are visible to the whole workspace, so share only what everyone may read.

- Each workspace is stored and queried separately, and never used to train a model.
What we don’t have: a SOC 2 report. We’re early, and we’d rather say so than imply otherwise.
